Privacy Policy
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
PLEASE READ THIS STATEMENT CAREFULLY TO UNDERSTAND HOW CHARITY COLLECTS, USES AND STORES YOUR PERSONAL DATA.
Social plugins from Facebook are used on our websites. We use the Like button for this purpose. This is an offer from the US company Facebook Inc. (1601S. California Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304 USA). However, when you visit one of our websites that contains such a plugin, this does not establish a connection to this company. This only happens after your express consent, which you will be asked for when you click on a corresponding button. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy: www.facebook.com/policy.php.
If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected via our website to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of Facebook plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with a „Facebook Blocker“.
Facebook Pixel
The website of Karate Austrian Open uses the remarketing function „Facebook Pixel“ of Facebook Inc. The Facebook Pixel is directly integrated by Facebook when you call up our website and can save a so-called cookie, i.e. a small file, on your device. If you subsequently log in to Facebook or visit Facebook while logged in, the visit to our offer will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous for us, so it does not offer us any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook, so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible.
The processing of the data by Facebook is carried out within the framework of Art. 6 para. 1, letter f DSGVO and the Facebook Data Usage Policy. With the help of the Facebook Pixel, it is possible for Facebook to determine the visitors to our offer as a target group for the display of advertisements, so-called „Facebook Ads“. Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our internet offer. In this way, we want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. You can find more information on how the remarketing pixel works, generally how Facebook ads are displayed and information on protecting your privacy in Facebook’s data usage policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php.
You can object to the collection by the Facebook pixel and use of your data for the display of Facebook ads in accordance with Art. 21 (2) DSGVO. To do so, you can visit the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions there regarding the settings for usage-based advertising:
https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads or declare the objection via the EU page http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. The settings are platform-independent, i.e. they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.
